Cristianne Rijcken, PharmD PhD

Cristianne Rijcken studied Pharmacy at the University of Utrecht. She followed a specialisation in Pharmaceutical Technology and participated in the Honours Programme. In 2007, she obtained her PhD at the Department of Pharmaceutics (University of Utrecht) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ir. Wim Hennink. The thesis is entitled ‘Tuneable & degradable polymeric micelles for drug delivery: from synthesis to feasibility in vivo’. She is (co-)author of 20 scientific publications and co-inventor of 6 patents related to CriPec®. Cristianne attended several business courses, including the Niaba Masterclass BioBusiness.
